18.04.2015 Procedures such as literary rewriting and the rescue of objects are the conceptual pillars sustaining Las Fuerzas Productivas, the fifth individual exhibition by artist Martín Legón. The exhibition organises photographs, drawings and installations in a continuum of closed processes in such a ways that they act as a support for an essay on the subject of assembly and articulation as a technique that can upset the established order and state of things. The leitmotiv around which the exhibition is organised is the nineteenth century idea developed by Karl Marx that is central to historical materialism, now revisited as a question mark in the field of aesthetics. So the exhibition is a possible space of questioning and reflection on the intellectual and poetical value of art and its relationship with today’s world.
