05.06.2024 Interior with Landscapes is Alejandra Seeber’s first solo exhibition and career survey in her hometown since the 90s New York City. The show is a career survey of 25 years including a new installation that invites visitors to play golf among her art.

30.05.2024 Primeras figuras, the new solo exhibition by the duo Lolo y Lauti. Curated by Santiago Villanueva, the show is composed by a series of videos and cave paintings made from wires. These “archaeologists of ecstasy” present us with a new exploration of night clubs as places of sites where prehistoric rituals persist.

Fluid Boundaries at BARRO NEW YORK
04.04.2024 Abstract art can manifest in numerous ways, being deductive or expressive, lyrical or rational, geometric or organic, as well as smooth or rich in gestures. In the realm of painting, abstraction acquires a unique expression when it is grounded in a well-defined ontology. Although painting does not speak, it creates speech. Joaquín Boz’s work is an example of how abstraction not only encompasses but also delves into complex concepts such as contingency and sensibility, through its meticulous layers of color.

Biennale Arte 2024 Official Awards
01.04.2024 La Chola Poblete was awarded a Special Mention during the Official Awards at the Venice Biennale 2024 for her participation in the main exhibition “Stranieri Ovunque” (Strangers Everywhere) curated by Adriano Pedrosa. The Biennale stated: “She engages in critical play with histories of colonial representation from a trans Indigenous perspective. Her multivalent art –including watercolour, fabric, and photography– resists the exoticisation of Indigenous women while she insists on the power of sexuality.”

La Chola in La Biennale di Venezia
30.03.2024 La Chola Poblete is one of the artists invited to be part of the 60 International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale curated by Adriano Pedrosa. The Biennale will take place from April 20 to November 24, 2024 under the title “Stranieri Ovunque” (Strangers Everywhere). La Chola presents a series of representations of the Virgin Mary produced with watercolors between 2023 and 2024, their compositions complement the figures with a combination of Andean symbolism and pop iconography.
