10.06.2023 All the works arise from the artist’s production in his workshop located in an industrial park in Mar del Plata, a location that materially permeated his works, establishing new dialogues with his trajectory and singular imagery. Aluminum, feathers, black enamel, mylard, supports and materials coexist in a novel way with a persistent “core” from the background of Duville’s works, but which, placed in suspense, slowly becomes unstable.

The sculptural ensemble of anthropomorphized beings constitutes a group portrait of Gabriel Chaile’s family tree. The work was presented for the first time at the Venice Biennial 2022 and is now exhibited permanently in the Chaile Pavilion at the recently inaugurated MALBA—PUERTOS, Escobar.
